Andrew Jackson Elementary has an active and supportive PTO. We appreciate all that you do! Just take a look at all of their 2008-09 successes!
Through your support of the PTO we have funded the following items this year:
- $200 to every AJS teacher for supplies & educational needs
- Supply the office with an additional copier
- Pay the yearly maintenance on the RISO machine that we bought last year.
- Art, PE & Music Departments received $1,150 each for education and equipment needs
- New Sofa for the students in the Guidance Office
- New Computers in K-2nd Computer Lab
- Headsets for Computer Lab
- $6,000 in new books for the Reading Room
- School wide Media & Technology equipment
- Tool kit for janitors
- Brooms and dustpans for the students use in cafeteria
- Wet-Vac
- Thank you luncheons for all the teachers and staff
- End of Year Awards for students
- Eagle Run Shirt for every student
- Fund administrative support staff for summer to prepare for new school year
- Special funding for Field Day
